I wanted a The Weeknd song for a low-BPM set I was performing on Abr 27th.
I found this great Henry Sanz remix from Can’t Feel My Face, but for me it was a little bit ominous to perform in a bar or a more relaxed non-progressive venue.
So I boosted the voice and background vocals a bit here and there. Then I found that it goes really well with Sofi Tukker’s ‘Drinkee’ motif. I added a sample.
Finally I gave the track extra length to ensure a smooth mixing experience. I really can’t trust myself sometimes when it comes to performance, haha.
